General Information

A Typical Day of Training

A typical day in one of our public training classes goes something like this:

8:15 AM: Students begin arriving, enjoying our freshly-brewed coffee or the Starbucks located a short walk from our building.

8:30 AM:
Class begins. You get to know your instructor and classmates, then dive right into learning.

10:30 AM: Take a 10-minute break to refill your coffee, check email or chat with your instructor, then right back to learning.

12:00 PM: An hour for lunch at any of the great restaurants within walking distance.

2:30 PM: Another 10-minute break to stretch your legs, network with classmates or review your course handout.

4:00 PM: Training day ends, leaving you excited about what you have learned and anxious to begin using your new skills.

How to Register and Pay
Registration is required. To learn about a class, click its link on this page. To register, fill out our brief contact form, which you can do from the class description pages, as well. We will respond within 24 hours to enroll you into the class(es) and arrange for payment. We accept payment via check or credit card and purchase orders are welcome.
Hands-On Training
All Accelerate classes are instructor-led and hands-on. You sit at either a Windows-based or Macintosh computer (your choice) as the trainer teaches concepts, demonstrates techniques and leads you through real-world exercises until they become skills. After the class, if you have any questions, you have 60 days of free follow-up support via phone or email.
Small Class Sizes
To optimize learning, we limit class sizes to seven students per class in our Long Beach, California training facility. This allows for a great deal of interaction between you, the trainer and your fellow students.
Free Re-Takes
If you feel like you need a refresher on a class you have already taken, we offer free re-takes of the same class within six months. Re-taking a class is subject to available space, and some classes do cancel due to low enrollment. If a new major version of the software is released within your six months, you can retake the same class in the new version for 50% off the regular price of the class.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel or reschedule a class, please let us know at least five business days in advance of the first day of the class. Late notice may result in the forfeiture of the entire class registration fee for that class.

Public Training Classes

Accelerate offers public computer training classes in many software applications in small, hands-on, instructor-led, one- to three-day training classes. A full day of public training consists of over six hours of instruction, plus an hour for lunch. Students receive printed course materials that reinforce the subject matter and a handsome certificate at the end of each class.

Available Discounts

Accelerate Computer Training offers several ways to save on its public training classes: public training discounts and blocks of discount tickets.

Public Training Discounts Discount Tickets

Multi-Class discount - save 10% by registering and paying for two or more classes at the same time.

Multi-Student/Referral discount - register more than one person at the same time for the same class and you each save 10%. Or simply refer someone, and if they register, both of you will receive 10% off your next class.

Early-Registration discount - save 5% by registering and paying for a class more than one month prior to the first day of the class.

The discounts listed above can be combined, so if you qualify for more than one, the discounts will accumulate.

You can buy blocks of 5, 10 or 20 tickets that can be exchanged for training classes - the more tickets you buy, the greater the discount.

There are two types of tickets: "A" tickets and "B" tickets. "A" tickets are for Artsy classes like Photoshop or Flash and for Advanced classes like the FileMaker Training Series. "B" tickets are for Basic or Business classes like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Multi-day classes cost multiple tickets, one per day.

You can find the cost of each class, in both dollars and tickets, on the class lists and description pages of this site.

Ticket Prices

Qty A tickets B tickets
